FCCLA is hosting a free "Zalma Closet" during open house on:
August 15, from 5pm to 7pm. We have loads of clothing to give away for free. We are also having a bake sale in which the proceeds will go to a Non-Profit organization. One of my FCCLA goals this year is to teach our students what Non-profit organizations are, and what they do for the community.

Free Sports Physicals 1:00 PM-5:00 PM August 8th in the Zalma High School Gym. This is for grades 6-12 and is open to Zalma Students only. I just spoke with Ozark Border. As of now the substation that serves the Zalma area is down. They are hopeful that it will be repaired today. Until the substation is repaired they can't assess any other damage from the substation to the customers supported by this substation. There is a real possibility that we will not have power at school tomorrow. If we don't have power, we will not have school. Unfortunately, we may not know until late tonight or early in the morning. As soon as I know anything more I will pass that information on to you. Parents are encouraged to have a backup plan in case we do not have school tomorrow.

Summer School Info:
All students should be dropped off at the HS cross walk each morning. Drop off's start at 7:40 a.m.
PTO will begin selling snacks to Elementary students Tuesday during lunch recess.
Also, in order to qualify for each Friday's field trip, students must not be absent any day that week.

Graduation is tonight at 7:30.
